Front end colision approximately 1 year ago. Totaled by insurance company. Damaged in colision: Front fascia, left turn signal light, front bumper and supporting steel, left headlight and support, hood, left front fender, driver air bag. No damage in engine compartment from front of ac condenser back to firewall except bent support steel for left headlight. No apparent damage to front tires, wheels, steering and suspension. Bad leak from transmission due to inadequate repair of hole in case. It requires checking the oil level and topping it off about every 1000 miles, so it is a pita. I drove it that way for about a year up until the time of the accident. It shifts fine. Before the accident I was planning on pulling the trans and having the aluminum case welded in a shop. Additional wear and tear: rocker panel rust-out both sides, rear window shot, roof fair, tear in driver's seatback, ac fluid empty when I bought car [not refilled]. In the year since the collision the plastic front fascia panel has nearly returned to its original shape. See photo. Except as noted above, all other body panels are in good shape. Rustproofed when new by Ziebart. Alloy wheels. Tread remaining on Dunlop Graspic 185/60R14 tires: LF 10/32", RF 10/32", LR 9/32", RR 10/32". Construction is unibody. Bent steel beneath left front headlight is part of unibody. Small ding in right front fender [I couldn't get a picture in which it shows up.].
