For sale is my 2004 Volkswagen W12 Phaeton Premier Edition with every available option except 4 seater. It has a BRAND NEW assembly line engine and transmission that was installed at 64274 miles. I went into the dealership for a transmission concern and while there complained of slight power loss. The technician found 3 of the cylinders had lower than specified compression and gave me a couple of options. I did some research and found a brand new engine from a VW dealership and had it installed the same time as the transmission. It included alternator, a/c compressor, power steering pump, coils, intake manifold, spark plugs, throttle bodies, serpentine belt, coolant hoses, exhaust manifolds, engine wiring harness, and much more. ALL BRAND NEW! I have the complete service history since day one on the vehicle, I am the second owner. All 4 air shocks have been updated to the new version as well as the control module. And all software updates and recalls have been performed. No expense has been spared on maintaining this vehicle. This is my second phaeton I have owned and is incredible to drive. The only reason I am selling is that my work commute has tripled and am purchasing an Audi Q7 diesel. It is by far the best luxury vehicle on U.S. roads today. The top-of-line 6.0 liter W12 engine registers a remarkable 420 hp at 6,000 rpm and 406 pound-feet of torque at 3,250 rpm is, in essence, two VR6 engine blocks on a common crankcase. Volkswagen estimates the W12 accelerates from 0-to-60 in a scant 5.9 seconds, but many roadtests (see below for one) clock it at 5.5 seconds. Meanwhile, thanks to double-pane windows, triple door seals and various other sound deadening techniques, the cabin of the Phaeton is whisper quiet even at all speeds. In addition, the Phaeton W12 comes with a lavish interior, as no expense was spared in Volkswagen's attempt to compete with the finest sedans in the world. The Phaeton's cabin displays flawless build quality and materials indicative of its luxury price. Pushing and tugging on the various dash and door panels reveals construction so solid you would need a well-placed crowbar to budge them. The standard walnut wood trim has perfectly matched grains and a rich finish that adds some polish to the interior without looking overdone. Think of it as the automotive equivalent of a private luxury jet. - 65,280 miles- -$2500 K-40 radar hard wired in the car with front and rear jammers and 360 deg pick up. This thing is amazing! The car has a few very minor nicks and scratches that you would expect from a 2004. I have taken pictures of the blemishes and listed them. There is a small rock chip on the far right side of the windshield that I could not get to show up in pictures that was professionally repaired and fixed by a glass shop but is still noticable. I was told since it was repaired that it cannot spread or crack. I have the title in hand, no accidents or paintwork. When a repair exceeds the cost of the vehicle the warranty company will total the coverage and pay the cost of the car. I purchased the engine out of pocket to keep coverage on the vehicle.
