I am Selling my 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ SE Project. It is a 4 Cyl, with an automatic transmission. It runs and drives fine. Just has high miles. I was going to turn this into an off road rig, but I just do not have the time or energy right now to do it. I have installed a set of TnT customs rear corners guards that allow for a 5" stretch in the rear wheel base. I have not moved the rear axle back. If wanting to keep the stock wheelbase another set of corner guards will need to be purchased since the original sheet metal has been trimmed for the stretch. When I bought the Jeep the passenger side fender was wrecked, and the hood was pushed in a little. So it will need a new passenger side fender and hood to be put back to stock, I still have the driver side fender that will go with the Jeep. The Jeep will also need a steering box since the one on the Jeep is leaking. Overall this Jeep will make an excellent crawler or DD project for the right person. The winner of the auction will also have first dibs on a Dana 44 front axle out of an 79 F-250 with 1/2" axle tubes, flat top knuckles on both sides, already milled and drilled for high steer, narrowed to 65" WMS. It has alloy axle shafts, CTM u-joints, 5.38 gears, and a detroit locker. It would also include an option to buy a Ford 9" rear center section with aluminum spool, 5.43 gears.
