1953 Chevrolet 5 window 3100 Pick-up. Attention old Chevy pick-up lovers. This 1953 5 window 1/2 ton pick-up underwent a very nice restoration from its previous owner. As you can see in the photo's the truck shows very well. She has excellent chrome, beautiful wood in the bed, wide whites and a few optional trim items including the under-bed spare tire (also a wide white). I get a kick out of people blowing their horns and giving me the thumbs up when I drive it. I purchased the truck from an elderly gentleman that did the restoration work himself. I would classify it as a very good quality amatuer restoration. He purchased the vehicle from an owner in Ohio. I have a clear Maryland title. The mileage shows as 43,000 but I have to sell it as true mileage is unknown, I don't have any records to support the mileage and after all it is nearly 60 years old. It has the 216 6 Cyl motor and 3 speed on the column. The truck is restored to stock condition. New 6 volt wiring and exhaust. The engine looks to be totally correct however it has a rebuilt tag on it that was done prior to my ownership and the previous owner. She runs strong and steers and brakes terrific. The undercarrage is as clean as the top. If you are looking for a fun classic Chevy pick-up that you can drive to your local car show then this is a nice one to bid on. They will need to be wired to a switch to use. It was one of those details the previous owner never got around to when doing the restoration. The headlights and other lights work fine.
