1985 Subaru BRAT with lots of extras. I bought this BRAT off EBAY in February of 2009 for $4200. Since then, I've used it as a daily driver. I had the carburetor rebuilt, replaced both fuel filters, new spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, v-belts, battery, battery cables, air filter. I had all the fluids changed: rear differential, transaxle, coolant, and engine oil with new magnetic oil plug (I use Castrol 10w30 every 3000 miles). I replaced the rear shocks with KYB gas-adjust shocks, the front struts are KYB GR2s. I Custom built a class II tow hitch and had it powder coated. I had the T-Tops covered with black vinyl to block out the summer sun (can be easily removed). The extra parts include a Hi-top camper shell, 4 original white spoke wheels with new Firestone Winterforce tires plus original hub caps, one extra spoke wheel and two '83 GL wheels. Also includes '83 GL EA81 engine, transaxle, driveshaft and rear differential, skid plate, ac compressor, condenser, radiator with fans, air cleaner and ecu. Other parts include jumper seats, seat belts, head rests, full grill, passenger seat bottom, rear view mirror, head light, rear bed carpet, new extra fuel filter, misc. bolts and screws, jack, front tow bar, and 4 layer car cover I paid $80 for. The AC was switched to R134A in 2007, the car has cruise control, the 4 low and high both work well. The front windows are tinted 35% and the rear slider window is tinted 20%. Other than light surface rust, there is one patch of rust on the passenger door sill. This is a great truck that draws a lot of attention, but now I need a 4dr truck that will pull an 18' car trailer.
