Vehicle Detail
Freedom Grill “Grand Canyon” – Tailgating of Epic Proportions Freedom Grill takes tailgating on the road with the Grand Canyon. The Freedom Grill Grand Canyon was designed to be the Ultimate Tailgating Party Vehicle. Freedom Grill wanted to captivate spectators with their product so they hooked up with Trent VanArsdalen of Trent’s Trick Upholstery to get the job done. The 2005 GMC Canyon went straight to Dave Dean at Lowe Body Customs for newly fabricated round door handles on driver’s side, passenger’s side and rear tailgate doors. Dave fabricated a hinge to make the tailgate “side-swing” for easy access and a place to keep our bar-b-que accessories for future tailgating. Dave’s immaculate work was brought to life with stainless steel accents created by Dan Dreisbach of Naked Sculpture. Following through the bed covered in red Gross Point carpet and OptimaLeather provided by ISS you’ll find Air-Zenith’s air pumps making for quick response time when jacking up the body or scrapin’ the ground with Progressive Automotive workmanship in conjunction with Air Ride Technologies air suspension. Also in the bed you’ll find Kicker speakers and amps which provide awesome crystal clear sound powering the 27” LCD television provided by our friends at Westinghouse. Sitting in the cushiony driver’s seat you’ll experience the craftsmanship of Trent VanArsdalen of Trent’s Trick Upholstery, surrounded by red OptimaLeather. The chrome accents on the dash provided by Woodview give the interior a rich feel. Looking through the Flaming River cascade steering wheel, know the vehicle’s vital signs with USSpeedo’s stainless steel speedo cluster. Tune in your favorite music video with Dual Electronic’s multi video in dash unit backed by Kicker speakers and your ready for a party. Project Grand Canyon is sure to be noticed as one-of-kind at our next tailgate party with custom mixed champagne, yellow and red paint provided by Valspar/House of Kolor and applied by Aaron Lynch of Lynch Concepts. Color-matched Bonspeed Huntington wheels are a 6-lug one-of-kind with ornamental Topline bullet lug nuts and wrapped in BFGoodrich rubber. Street Scene’s bumper cover and side skirt add flare, along with a little bling by Trenz, while ARE’s tonneau cover and Reflexxion’s steel hood add protection with purpose. To be sure we don’t back into things with our grill on the back, Rostra has us covered with backup sensors and Spiderlite with special rear expanding LED light bulbs for the taillights. The vibrant engine compartment with custom engine cover, Pi-Thon hose clamps and Cool Tube Extreme by DEI will have people wondering just how much horse power this thing can supply. Performance enhancements include dual air intake and throttle body spacer from AirAid, Corsa exhaust and assured stopping power with SSBC’s brake kit. The audio and video system is powered by an Eclipse DVD/CD/GPS head unit and three Kicker amplifiers powering four massive subwoofers, two in the cab, and two in the bed, and six two way speakers for an amazing experience.
