1977 Porsche 911 S Targa I bought this car in 2005 and immediately had it repainted. It was brown and I changed the color to red. The paint job was done by one of the best body shops in town and I get many compliments on it. I also had the Targa top recovered at the same time. It is a very nice example of a classic 911. EXTERIOR The exterior shows very well. It has a couple small scatches and the windshield has a couple scratches as well from a bad wiper. Overall the car looks excellent! INTERIOR The interior is in nice shape with the exception of the front seats. You will see in the pictures that I have lower seat covers over them to protect them as they have a few splits in them. The back rest of the drivers seat also has a split in it. If I were to keep the car this would be something I would repair but with the seat covers it looks fine. All of the gauges except the clock also work. MECHANICAL The car runs very well! I just replaced the clutch cable. The transmission and clutch are very sound. The exhaust is fine along with the battery. The car has the typical 911 oil drip that all the older ones have. I run synthetic oil in it. The AC isn't hooked up but i believe has all of the components. I would trust driving it anywhere.
