Vehicle Detail

1993 Nissan 300ZX T-Bar Roof Coupe Here we have a 300ZX with only 123k miles. It is in pretty good condition for its age and has good COLD working air condition and climate control. I believe it was a one owner car until I bought it the other day, the reason I think this is because the previous title said it has zero miles when it was last transfered. It comes with the owners manual and a bunch of receipts and such. As you can see in the pictures it is a very good looking car which will turn some heads! How many of these do you see with the cool T-Bar removable roof? Some of the things wrong with it are: The engine has a skip. It sounds like its just skipping, could be a plug wire, could be an injector, something like that. Its NOT making any noisy racket or anything like that, its probably an easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing. I haven't taken it to a mechanic or anything, I just bought this car to resale and I know there are people out there that would love to have this car, and I want to sell it just like I found it. I've seen these cars with over 300 or 400k miles on them that still run fine. This one just needs a little TLC here and there, nothing major, to be a really nice car. It is completely drivable and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere, from here across the state or to atlanta or charlotte, It will run and drive just fine besides the little hesitation if you know what i mean. Other than the skip I cant see anything else wrong with it mechanically. The clearcoat is starting to peel in some places, especially the top of the rear bumper and a place on the drivers quarter panel. The front bumper got damaged at the very bottom so the piece was removed. I still have the piece incase you want it for repair. There are some dings here and there and there is a blunt dent on the passengers quarter that can probably be popped out. The tires are not that good and will need replacing soon. The interior was well cared for and has only a few issues, the steering wheel has some wear on it and the top of the shifter knob. One of the door panels in the back has some of the material starting to come away from the side, which could be glued back or just recover it with some vinyl - not a big deal. This car comes complete with the original Bose Radio which only works now and then. I think the radio thinks there is a tape in the deck even though there is not. The radio will come on and play every now and then, maybe you can figure it out. All the bells and whistles that I could think to test DOES work, like the power seats, power windows, power mirrors, horn, etc. The gauges work including the speedo and tach. All the glass looks great. It is a reliable car and will drive anywhere, and it doesn't run hot or anything like that. It has good clean clear oil and good looking coolant. The car comes with the t-top shades and the bag with the t-top holders. As you can see, I'm being really honest about the car and telling you everything I know about it. No surprises here, its a 17 year old car. Don't bid if you're a nitpicker. You are welcome to come and view the car during the auction. If you bid and win, you own it. There won't be any backing out and nit picking. Make sure this is the car you want. I'm starting the bidding really really low and I'll let the bidding do the talking and determine what the car is really worth. There is no reserve on the car and there is no buy-it-now price. PLEASE come visit and view the car, I welcome you to see it, because its a really neat car, when I brought it home my wife wanted to keep it but unfortunately we have too many projects and such and this one has got to go. This car is sold as-is and with no returns, no warranty. Buyer must make a 300.00 non-refundable deposit via paypal within 3 days and/or pay in full with CASH ONLY by the end of the upcoming weekend after the auctions end. (If you don't want to use paypal you'll have to pay in full in 3 business days) Why cash? Because we live in an age where there are even fake money orders out there. If you'd like to I'd be willing to meet in a public place such as a bank to complete the transaction. As you can see by my feedback I am a reputable seller and I have successfully sold 10 or 15 cars here on ebay in the past decade. On Aug-21-10 at 18:41:44 PDT, seller added the following information: EDIT: We had someone come out and look at the car and we were driving it around the block. It was getting dark and we turned on the lights. The AC was on too. We started to notice the lights dimming as if the car was losing battery power. By the time we got back home the battery was dead. This car is going to need an alternator. I didn't know this when the listing started.. My dad drove this car from the original owners home to his home, then from his home to my home. I also drove it around the block a time or two before I listed it and the battery didn't go dead. But now it is. I'm pretty sure the battery is ok, it looks like now. It's the alternator. If you are going to try to drive this car home, you might want to bring a good powerful battery. I will make sure this battery is good and charged for you when you get here. I'm sure if you drive with the windows down and no air, and no headlights it will probably drive a long way. But I would have a spare battery to get you home if you live a good distance away. The gentleman that looked at the car also said the skipping might be a head gasket. Something I hadn't considered before. Please bid accordingly. On Aug-22-10 at 09:03:40 PDT, seller added the following information: I don't think its a head gasket causing the car to skip. But I guess anything is possible. I did hear once that an intake gasket could cause a skipping feeling. The oil looks great and the coolant looks real good.
