This fj40 was in great condition when I bought it, this is the 5th fj I have restored and 1 of many I have owned, the engine was rebuilt by a local mechanic and now only has 75 miles on it, the tub was taken off the frame and all the parts were disassembled, sandblasted, metal etched and recoated. The inside of the tub was lined with matching blue liner, the underside of the tub was black lined. The frame, axels, and springs were stripped or sandblasted, and coated with p.o.r-15. The wheels were also sand basted and powder coated o.e.m gray. Most everything has been either replaced, stripped and recoated, or rebuilt.
