Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is a 1990 Nissan 300ZX. It is a 2+2 configuration with removable T-Top glass panels. It is equipped with all the standard features like leather seating, power drivers seat, auto temp control with A/C (needs to be charged), anti-lock brakes, power windows, power locks, power mirrors and fog lights. It has been upgraded with twin turbo wheels which are wider in the rear, aftermarket exhaust with a very nice low tone, and has been lowered. All done by the previous owner. I purchased this car because I needed something to replace my lost motorcycle (2008 Suzuki GSX-R750). I bought it with the hopes of putting a twin turbo engine in it, unfortunately I was convinced to just fix the faulty wiring and new fuel injectors. It does run, however it does NOT hold an idle when cold. After the engine warms up, though it will keep a high idle of about 1200 rpm. I went to get it smogged recently and they did not test it because of the high idle. They DID test the EVAP system and that passed easily. The car is now in the way of me getting a new Gixxer, so off this car must go. I have gotten this thing running and it is in very nice shape looks wise. Although the engine isn't purring like quite good enough for the smog station, I just have lost interest in it. The good: It runs (just not smoothly), passed the EVAP test, looks very nice, twin turbo wheels, low exhaust note, lowered and all registration fees up to date The bad: Doesn't run smoothly, doesn't hold idle when cold, has high idle when warmed up, and did NOT pass smog Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7p2PC2M8eoo I urge you to look at the video on youtube and e-mail any questions you might have. This is a great car that has a timeless look to it. Thank you and enjoy
