1954 chevy bel air hot rod, rat rod. this car is being sold with no reserve. This car has many custom features. 4 link rear end, rear end is c notched and bagged with shocks, the front is just bagged, have not installed shock towers. rear axle out of 1957 chevy so no torque tube. car is also fitted with a sbc 350 and 350 trans. the tranny has less then 200 miles on rebuild. Tranny has shift kit installed. Dual electric fans that are set up on a relay to come on around 190 degrees. no switch to forget about. car is chopped around 5-6 inches. the front glass is factory cut down, the rear glass is factory with the stock window opening cut out and laid back so it matches well with the front. there is no side glass in the car but everything is there for the rear glass and i do have the vent windows but do need to be cut down. most of the window mechanics are still in the doors. floors are very solid with some patching already done. front seat is in and covered in mexican blankets and the rear is just sitting back there and is also covered the same. car is setup to use nitrogen for the bags but the bottle has to stay...i have an air inlet in the system so you can fill and use until another bottle is purchased. all the interior trim pieces will go with the car but have not yet been cut down....there is a working spotlight on it for fun...will need to be removed or remounted if side glass is put back in. car has brand new painless wiring kit installed. 5" autometer tach where speedo would be gas gauge works but needs a relay installed to switch stock 6volt sending unit to work with 12v system now. also has cluster with volt, oil, temp gauge installed as well. all emblems and handles have been removed and shaved. there is a truck release switch in the gas door. 15 " steal wheels with low pro whites on it with around 200 miles on them....just had a baby and need a more family friendly car...i like almost anything so speak up. this car has a clean south dakota title. runs and drives great with new drum brakes all the way around with a rebuilt master. i know what i have into so that is what i am starting my bid at please feel free to ask me any questions or if you need more pics let me know....buyer is responsible for shipping and there will be a 500 deposit directly after auction...car can sit in my garage till pick up is arranged but no longer then one month....i can assit shipper with loading of car......this car is a blast to drive and gets tons of looks. good luck. if i have forgot something i will update the page...forgot to add that this car has brand new exhaust with thrush mufflers. very thoaty sound.....this car is also for sale locally and have the right to end auction early.
