You are looking at an absolutely beautiful 1968 AMC Javelin. This car still has the Texas registration on the windshield. It is RUST FREE. You can still see the spot welds on the fenders. I assure you you will not find another Javelin as rust free. The floors and trunk pans are perfect with original seam seal. The car is truely in super condition. It is an original 290 Scarab Gold car. It is an original 290 car however it currently houses a 1970 model AMC 360. It has been recently built by Automotive Machine here in my home town. It has been bored 30 with a complete balanced rotating assembly. 291c heads have been rebuilt with new guides. Comp Cam with 480 lift. AMC Edelbrock aluminum intake with a 650 Holley. 727 Trans with a 2800 stall. 410 POSI rear. This car still sports the original 14" Magnum 500 wheels. Less than 1000 miles on the motor.The Javelin has a brand new 4 core radiator, power steering, power drum brakes, new heater core. The car still has the original paint on the inner doors however the outside has been repainted once. There are only a few blemishes on the hood but for the most part it is very nice as you can see from the photos. Inner fenders and firewall were completely repainted this spring. This car can be driven or showed very respectively. Interior is very nice with no rips or tears. Carpet is new. Dash is very nice.
