2004 Jetta Wagon GL 1.9L TDi 5-Speed Manual Transmission Up for sale is a 2004 Jetta Wagon TDi with a manual transmission. The trim level is GLS and includes power windows, door locks and mirrors. The interior color is black with matching black cloth seats. Also included are all weather OEM VW floor mats both front and rear and OEM VW cargo mat cargo area. OEM VW mudguards fore and aft are also equipped. The overall interior trim I give a 9/10, with no rips or tears, stains or broken parts, just small amounts of wear on the heavily used items. Overall, the exterior is in good shape. There some mirror scratches, scuffs and dents that are to be expected on a six year old car with 76,000 miles. The largest of these is on the front right side of the bumper as seen in the pictures. I can email you larger pictures on the effected area on request. The paint is in good shape and shows little, if no fade. The car has been waxed/buffed several times in the last few years, and it shows. The car has never been in an accident. From a maintenance standpoint/running condition, the car is 100%. The tires were replaced 5,000 miles ago (at 10/32 now) with the factory size/load rated Michelin “Exalto” all season’s. These are excellent tires and it shows in the way the vehicle rides. The front brakes were replaced less then 10,000 ago (still 13B), and the rear brakes are less then 2 years old (8B). The vehicle has had oil services every 5,000 miles using only VW Castrol OEM “black bottle” oil (VW TXT501 standard) and a factory oil filter cartridge. The fuel filter has been replaced every 30,000 miles and the air filter was replaced about 15k ago along with the fuel filter. The cooling system was also flushed as well as the battery replaced with a factory OEM VW battery at that time. The clutch, pressure plate and flywheel have been replaced about 10,000 miles ago with OEM VW parts, including the release bearing. The manual transmission gear oil has also been replaced with OEM VW fluid. Overall, all the mechanics of the vehicle are in perfect working order, and the vehicle drives like its new, quiet and efficient, shifting smoothly with plenty of power from the turbocharged 1.9L diesel. This is great example of a good running, well maintained Jetta Wagon with only 76,000 miles on it. The overall shape of the vehicle, while not perfect, shows how well these vehicles hold up over the long term and really speaks well of the maintenance that has gone into keep it that way. This engine is known to go well over 300,000 miles and is a proven long term reliable diesel. Current PA inspection until Spring 2011 NOTE: The wagons were made in Germany!!!!!
