Vehicle Detail

1950 Chevrolet Suburban Carryall project. Complete body-off, soda blasted, front floor pans replaced, and frame+body bottom painted with Chassis Black. Firewall painted original factory offering Beach White, though this suburban was originally a blue Air Force truck. Mid-1960's Chevelle 10-bolt axle and new 3" lower leaf springs on the rear, a new Rod Garage Mustang II IFS with 500-lb coilovers installed (this Mustang II is worth $1900!). I have a 454 engine and TH350 ready to go in that are for sale separately. I have the original front i-beam and rear axle from this suburban also. I plan to replace the fenders but I have all 4 that are included in the sale. Doors are a little rough but have been soda blasted down to the metal. Please contact me for additional photos or questions - serious inquiries only. Payment must clear before you can pick it up.On Aug-14-10 at 15:57:06 PDT, seller added the following information: The last picture is of the 454 engine and TH350 installed but not included in this auction sale (but they are for sale separately). I've had a few questions about the rear fenders and why I didn't soda blast them - the answer is that I don't think they're worth the trouble. The pictures do make them look in better shape than they are, as the outer lip and front bottom edge (neither show up in the pictures) are rusted through. If the suburban doesn't sell, it will be available at Frog Follies August 27-29th - and the engine should be running, steering column installed, and all the fenders will be on again.
