This auction is for a 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger with a 340 cu.in. V8. It has an 833 4 speed trans, an 8 3/4 rear with a 3:55 posi and a 489 case with large bolt pattern Moser axles and green type bearings. The front suspension is a large bolt pattern disc brakes from a 1974 Duster. The interior has factory style bucket seats, tuff steering wheel, and an aftermarket cd player. The Dart was originally a slant six car with an auto trans. When converted to a V8, it has a '68-'72 A-body V8 sub frame installed, a floor shifter style steering column, and a facotry style floor hump for the 4 speed instaled as well. The engine is a 1970 340 V8 dated 6-26-70, you can see a partial date in one of the photo's. The engine is .30 over, crank is cut 10/10, .484 lift purple shaft cam, Torker II intake and an edelbrock carb. The trans is a stock 833 trans that had new syncro's and bearings installed and a stock type clutch. The front suspension was fully rebuilt includeing all ball joints, all control arm bushings, and all tie rod ends. It has a stock style exhuast system with '72 340 exhuast manifolds. The interior has '72 A-body bucket seats with no console. There ar no rips in any of the seats or the headliner. The dash pad is in great shape as well. The body has no visable rust with the exception of the left quarter panel and I will be including a quarter panel with the car to the wining bidder. The floors and frames have ZERO rust no were they ever repaired. There are minor scratches on the car and I am sure there may be a ding or so as the car is used regularly during the summer months. The grille and trim related items are not broken or damaged. Also, the chrome on the bumpers is age peppering a little, but no dents in the bumpers either. All of the drivetrain, suspension, seat covers, carpets,headliner were all replaced by me 8 years ago with approx 5,000 miles on the car since then. The car is a great driver type car that has never broken down on me. Recently I noticed the power steering pump is a little wet on the bottom, so there may be a leak starting. The buyer must make all arrangements for any kind of shipping. The car does not come with ANY type of warranties expressed or implied. A 25% deposit is due within 48 hours in the form of a cashiers check or cash if you are local.The balance is due within 7 days end of auction.
