1958 Plymouth Fury, "Christine" clone inspired by the film of the same name. This car started out life as an original 1958 red and white 2 tone Plymouth Savoy and was constructed like the film car. Body is almost rust free with just some pin holes in the trunk. Still wears all its original sheetmetal as it was an Iowa car. Original tinted glass, front and rear bumper wings and Fury trim. I have traced its lineage back to the original family and the Dealership that sold it. Vehicle is running its 318 Poly Big Block, solid lifter engine, with push button transmission. Motor was rebuilt at some time in the past and it runs and drives excellent. I obtained it 2 years ago and converted a few things. I upgraded to dual quads on a factory dual quad manifold, added electronic ignition and manual disc brakes for safety. In addition I rebuilt the front end, converted the Generator to an Alternator and installed new whitewall tires. The paint was new and I had the car wet sanded and buffed. The dual exhaust is 2 years old. What it needs. Engine compartment and trunk have never been detailed and should be. The interior is out of a 1958 Fury and is worn with splits to the drivers side of the bench. The bumpers could also use replating. I have put over 2500 trouble free miles on this car over the last 2 years and am only selling it because my 1970 Challenger R/T Convertible project has broken its budget by over $40K, which is what I have into this car. I will sell it for less than I have into it. I doubt you will find a much nicer one. The items left to finish the car are relatively low cost. People's jaws drop when you pull into a gas station or cruise night with this car. Don't miss your chance. This is a solid original car which has not been torn apart by kids. Even still has its original radio, which I don't believe has ever been out of the dash.
