motorearth Store 1954 AJS 16M - 350cc single . The bike is presently located in Denver. I purchased off an older gentleman years ago. I do not have time to go through everything, so am hoping someone else out there wants this thumper to run through it. It's a solid bike to start with, either for restoration or just to ride it as is for you Sunday cruiser. herer is some basics about the bike: General: Lucas SR magneto Runs and Drives Leaks a bit of oil, marks it's spot so you always know where you've been. Nice strong spark Cables - new Body: Seat- black leather solo Rubber - decent shape Tank - Black Tires- new tires. Dunlops. Engine: Does not have the original Amal carb. Has a Mikcarb on it. Gearbox: Shifts through the gears fine. Paint: Paint is black and in decent condition. A few scratches and nicks. Tank is black.
