1971 Honda SL350

1971 Honda SL350. This is an early one- it has a build date of 9/70, the first month of production of the K1. Bike is all original, but is missing left muffler. Right muffler has small dent underneath . Side covers are original with NO cracks, fixed or otherwise. Bike has the tool box lid as well as the horn switch. Tail light is not bent, lens has no cracks. Original red paint. Factory original tires with almost no weather checking. Instruments are immaculate- speedo shows 1315 miles, but the cable or drive is inop. Judging from the wear on the tires, foot pegs, and kick starter I believe this bike has about 3,000 miles. Last licensed in 1976. Bike runs fine, I rode it through all the gears, up and down. New points, carbs cleaned, new battery and fresh oil. Gas tank is nice inside. Chrome overall is good, with some pits on the right front fork tube and a small spot on rear wheel. Rear shocks are fair, handlebars are very nice-please see pictures to judge for yourself. Fenders have no dents, gas tank has a very small shallow dent at left knee. Has a clear Michigan title in my name. This bike can be rode as is, or is a better than average candidate for a full restoration, as it has the good stuff. Reasonable reserve.
