For auction is a 1971 Volvo P1800e. I'm cleaning house and this one has to go. This car is very solid for a P1800. I have had several P1800's and this is one of the more solid ones I've seen. The only critical rusting is in one of the jack points. I have the repair sheet metal piece which will need to be welded in. I think the car has been painted once, but I believe it to be the stock blue color. The hood will need to be adjusted to fit properly. I believe the car to have a minimal amount of filler, Car will need little to prep for paint. The interior is in decent shape, no rips in the seats or headliner. The carpets have been mostly replaced with remnant carpeting. All lights work as well as the electrics. The car was equipped with AC. The compressor and most plumbing are still in place. I do have condenser, blower motor, and plastic trim pieces that were removed. I believe it is inspectable the way it sits. I'm sure that the speedometer has been over. Engine runs very nicely with no smoke or leaks. It is equipped with the more reliable fuel injected engine. Most of the exhaust system has been replaced fairly recently. It has had a complete tune-up, new alternator and fuel pump. Car has Pirelli tires with 90% tread and good brakes all around. Has 4 speed transmission with overdrive. Throw out bearing has a slight whine, but may improve after driving a bit. Clutch and transmission are good. This car is a great platform for a complete restoration or just to be a fun driver. You could be the Saint of the neighborhood. I have tried to be honest in my description. Have questions ASK. No out of country bidders.
