These 500's are very fun bikes because they are so light and handle so well. The GS500 has a relatively low seat height so almost anyone can be comfortable on it. This bike looks very sporty but it is actually very easy to ride. The pegs are pretty low and the bars have some rise. It is surprisingly comfortable and would be perfect for a daily commuter. It also gets excellent gas mileage. If you are looking for an inexpensive sportbike this is it. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILED INFORMATION This GS500 comes with a North Carolina salvage rebuilt title. We purchased this bike at an insurance auction with mostly cosmetic damage including: scratches on exhaust, scratches on left and right side fairings, broken mirror, broken turn signal, scratches on motor covers. The left side was very scratched up and has been fixed. There are still some blemishes on the right side but nothing major. The motor did not run when we bought it so instead of taking a chance and trying to fix it we completely replaced it. The motor that was put it has less miles than this bike. No one would ever know the motor is not original. It was from the exact year and model and works perfect. This bike is not perfect by any means but it is in good condition.
