Vehicle Detail
Jeep 1946, CJ2A, s/n 55758, original color - Harvard red. This jeep was purchased by my father inlaw in 1964 to plow his suburban driveway. It was passed down to me in 1990 and I used it for 5 years to plow my driveway until the right front frame rail broke. The right front rear spring hanger is also broken. It is a rolling chassis and can be loaded pretty easily on to a trailer. The hood was crushed by a tree branch in the mid eighties and was removed and scrapped with the air cleaner. Engine has always been covered. Engine is free and was running when I parked it. There is the orignal Jeep plow and plow pump and all the parts shown in the pictures. It is set up with an enclosure that was sold by Sears in the 1960's which is aluminum and is in quite good condition, with all the doors, rear hatch, and glass. This is a very rusty old girl as you can see from the photos but we love her and would like to see her go to a good home and be restored. No title, no warranty, no shipping - you must pick her up. Available for sale locally as well so she may be gone before listing is over. My cell - 413.530.3327
