This is a very nice and clean 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-Door Sedan. This Chevy has a strong running 350 engine and a 3-speed automatic 350 turbo transmission. The car runs and shifts very smoothly. The original 2-barrel Rochester carburetor has just been rebuilt. The car had a recent tune-up and oil change and it runs like a champ. The odometer reads 63,820. I would estimate that the current engine and transmission have about 25,000 miles on them. Additional options on the car include power steering and dual exhaust. Clear title, in my name, and California registration good through July of 2011. The body of the car is very straight. There is no rust and the paintjob, although older, is still in very presentable condition. The car is painted according to its trim tag the original colors of Regal Turquoise and India Ivory. The front and rear bumpers are in excellent condition (recently rechromed). The stainless trim and other chrome trim are in good condition for a car of this age. The car has new glass all the way around, and nearly all of the weatherstripping has been replaced. The tires are are wide white wall Remington G-78 / 15. The front two tires have a good amount of tread left. The rear tires could stand to be replaced soon. There is a blackwall spare tire in the trunk. I have the bottom stainless windshield moulding and the winshield wiper arms. Though not on the car in the pictures, you can see them in the picture with the extra parts, all of which come with the car. The interior of this car is in great condition. The upholstery of the car was recently redone in the correct original style specifed on the trim tag as turquoise patern cloth with ivory imitation leather. There is new windlace, a new headliner and new seatbelts (2 in the front and 3 in the back - good for family trips). The radio is a modern Chevy replacement with AM/FM and Cassette player. The dash trim plate also has a more modern Chevy appearance, however I have all the original dash trim and they are included with the car. This is really a great and straight California, rust free car that runs real well. Inspections are welcome. Car is sold as is. Thanks for looking.
