1976 Honda CB

Up for auction is a classic 1976 Honda CB550-4. This little fun-loving 4-cylinder bike has all the pep you would want around town and then some. You can really feel the torque kick in around 6000 rpm. I enjoy riding this little smooth running 4-cylinder bike. It is light weight and nimble. Original miles are approximately 18000. Bike has been serviced and rebuilt to perform well. Good chain and sprockets. New oil and air filters. Everything works. Chrome finders are in reasonable shape. Spokes have some surface rust - see photos. Rims have a little surface rust. Saddle is in reasonable shape, however has approx 4 inch crack on top - see photos. Missing left side-cover. Engine aluminum clear-coat is flaking off due to salt air on coast. Normal wear and tear for a 35 year-old bike. Small amounts of surface rust here and there. Bike may be seen and ridden in Newport, VT at buyers risk - bike is currently not insured.
