2008 BMW K1200R MINT CONDITION, ONLY 4,035 MILES This is a barely used 2008 K1200R that I purchased in December of 2008. It has only 4,035 miles on it. I am selling it only because I have two other bikes: a 2008 Triumph Speed Triple and a 2007 Aprilia Tuono Factory. The bike is Smoke Gray Metallic Black. It came with the following factory options: Sport wheels, sport windscreen, and clear turn signal lenses with amber bulbs. I completed the blacked-out stealth look by adding the following: 1) Akrapovic Carbon fiber slip on muffler (sounds great and weighs about 20lbs less than the giant stock muffler). 2) Ztechnik carbon fiber tank protector 3) Ztechnik carbon fiber gas cap cover 4) All metal parts like the front & rear footpegs & brackets, the shifter and brake levers, etc. that were originally the oem silver alloy color were removed and powder coated Raven Black. The plastic headlight assembly was removed and painted black to match all the powdercoating. Look closely at the pictures, this is undoubtedly one of the coolest K1200Rs you will ever see. It turns heads everywhere I go. The rear tire was replaced at the end of last season at 3,096 miles. The bike has Pirelli Diablos on it, a 120 in front and a 180 in the rear. When I first got the bike I immediately installed two expensive ($250 for the pair) stainless steel guards made by Wunderlich to protect the radiator and oil cooler from rocks, bugs and other road debris. You can see both in the pics I’ve included. The bike also has an Evolutionize license plate relocator kit which cleaned up the look from the rear. I will not crate or arrange for shipping this bike!! Do not bid if you cannot pick the bike up here in Kingston, NY 12401. No exceptions. I have title in hand and the lein release from BMW. I do not NEED to sell this bike, so don’t bother with low ball offers. I would be interested in trading for a late model Kawasaki Concours 1400 only. I reserve the right to end the auction early for a private sale.
