1968 Pontiac GTO Convertible non-matching numbers This is a beautiful partially restored car. When I say partial I mean not frame off, but was not necessary. This GTO is rust free with new floor pans and quarter panels and a gorgeous new paint job($4000.00 in paint and body work this year). The only flaw is the small tear in the convertible top which is pictured below. The interior is original and is in very nice condition with a few small blems but lets not forget that its 42 years old, new carpet, door seals and trunk seals with new trunk mat. Also has new brakes shoes and new goodyear eagle tires mounted on centerline wheels. Power steering and 4 wheel drum brakes(not power). You will not be disappointed in this car!! On to the drive train. Motor is a 1970 400 coupled with an automatic transmission and his and hers shifter. Motor was completely rebuilt but i have no documentation. It runs great, wouldn't be scared to drive it anywhere. It was originally a 4speed car and I do have the original 4speed transmission, bellhousing, clutch linkage, shifter console and drive shaft I'll throw in. Now lets get down to business, It just kills me to sell this car. I have always been and will die a GTO enthusiast, but my daughter is getting married and it looks like I have to sacrifice my car.
