Vehicle Detail
This is a classic 1980 Suzuki GS850G. As you can see from the pictures this bike is in immaculate Shape. Features include hard shell saddle bags that come off real easy for toting around. The front faring has dual side pockets for additional Storage. The windshield is also in great shape with two vent holes that open and close real nice. The paint is Grean metalic and has plenty of flex in it so when the sun hits it, it really sparkles. The panels have been airbrushed with the Suzuki Trademark and there are subtle Ghost flames which are tastfully done. All body panels are in good shape. There is a crack in the faring on the inside shell, but not noticable at all from the outside, and really isn't noticable from the inside as well. The pipes are great with no road rash or pitting as this bike has never been downed. The seat is cutom stitched with the grab bar that has no rust on it. All the chrome and aluminum is polished and free from rust or pitting. The tires are in good shape but will need replacement after a full season of riding. No oil leaks, it doesn't blow smoke. This bike has been well cared for. The bike rides like a dream and is very comfortable. I road this bike 300 miles and made one stop. so it is really smoth rideing and takes the bumps very well. This is a no Reserve Auction so please serious bidders only. If you have any questions, please call me at 248-240-1844 also you can check out my bikes www.michigancustomcycles.com Good luck and happy bidding. On Jul-31-10 at 18:34:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I have checked the compression on all 4 cylinders, and the compression hits 120 on the third pump on every cylinder, also the clutch has been replaced as the old one had some wear. The Carburetors have been cleaned and synched. The bike idles very well. The bike still has a lot of years left in it, great bike for commuting as there is pleanty of storage. The oil has been changed, and the spark plugs are new and they get a great spark. The quetion has been asked if the bike is capable of being riden home to Chicago. I wouldn't hesitate to take this bike on a long distance trip. The Large windsheild makes this bike real nice to ride without getting beat up by the wind. Lastly I have posted a few more pictures. I installed the metal trim on the rear fender, so I took a picture of it. As you can see, the windsheild is in great shape. no scratches and completly visible.
