Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a great running Bronco. This is a list of what you get. There may be some more small stuff that I am forgetting but this the majority. I am selling this because I have lost interest and want the money to work on my next jeep project. If you are not familiar with these older vehicles they are made of real steel so they are heavy, a little noisy, ride rougher that todays SUV's but will go places todays SUV's won't even think about and it is carburated so I get about 10 MPG around town if I keep my foot out of it. I just want to make sure you know everything there is to know about th pre 80's SUV's like the Bronco and Blazers before yo bid or drive it. This does not have power windows or power door locks. 400M motor with 36,600 miles on complete rebuild. Have receipt. The original was a 351M but I had it rebuilt as a 400M. It has an RV cam and aluminum manifold. I left the original 2 barrel carb on it because I could not get it to pass smog with the 4 barrel. The motor was built for a lot of low end torque. Automatic transmission with 19,062 miles on complete rebuild. Rebuilt with heavy duty parts and shift kit. Have receipt Very rare Ford factory Track-Lok front and rear for true 4 wheel drive. Everything listed below was done within the last 20,000 miles over about a 12 year period and some within the last couple of months. If you do the math you see I don't drive it much. Poly Urethane bushings all around. Rear drive line Rear springs with 2” lift. Need to lift front 2” if not pulling a trailer. Shocks Emergency brake cables. Power steering box. Power steering pump. Power steering hoses. Rear axle rebuilt about 14,000 miles ago with bearings, seals, heavy duty carrier and clutch packs. Have receipt but receipt does not show milage. Front axle rebuilt about 13,000 miles ago with new bearings and seals. Can't find the receipt but it was done a couple of months after the rear Front brakes and rotors. Rear brakes, drums, backing plates and all hardware. Tuffy locking center console. Best Top deluxe high back seats. Original seats included they were recovered but some stitching pulled apart from being stored wrong Warn front winch bumper without winch. Needs cleaning and painting. Not installed Custom fit car cover. 2” body lift kit not installed. Warn deluxe locking hubs. Includes original hubs for parts. Some new door seals not installed. New tie rod ends not installed. New ball joints not installed. 4 row radiator. Original 3 row radiator included. Transmission cooler. Set of Ford factory shop manuals paid $380 for. New Sony Explode stereo. The 4 speakers are nothing special so if you want great sound you may replace them. Just remember about what I said about these older Bronco's have a road noise so spending a lot of money on speakers may be a waste plus it is a 4x4 so things inside get dirty. Air conditioning converted to R134a. This was just done so you need to run it some more then have the charge rechecked. Internal locking hood. Original owners manual. All 4 tires at 100% tread. The rear two have a slightly different tread pattern than the front. I ran over something that shredded the inside wall on one and the original was discontinued. They replaced the two rear with a newer tire with a little different tread pattern. Aluminum rims need polished. New rear carpet kit not installed. New Sears battery. New horns Painted about 10 years ago. The paint on the hood looks like it is getting thin. It wouldn't cost much to have the hood reshot if it keeps thinning out. The rest looks great. For the car collectors it includes the original window sticker and factory build sheet. I have included pictures of those. The interior needs a little work to finish the restoration. I can build jeeps and motors from the ground up but I have never done any interior work. The dash pad is cracked and needs to be replaced and the window seals are brittle and need replacing. I started to buy them but realized the effort was not what I wanted to tackle. It does pass smog. I have included a picture of the smog report from April 2010. It is a little hard to read. The sale is final so I suggest you contact me via email and make arrangments to see and drive it. I am available in the evenings and the weekend (kind of). If I absolutely have to, I will take time off work to accomodate someone that must see it during the day. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close using Paypal. Cash or bank check for the remainder within 7 days. If you want more pictures or have aditional questions email me. If you are going to try and play one of those money order games, don't bother. On Jul-27-10 at 15:47:30 PDT, seller added the following information:I was aksed why a 9 day listing. I want anyone interested to have a chance to drive it if they wish. The extra time allows us to schedule it. Another question was about the Kelly Blue Book. KBB does not list vehicles back this far. The NADA Guide does and a basic 79 Bronco in this condition without all the extras I have is $6554.00. The next question was about the Carfax. Carfax does not go back this far either. On Jul-29-10 at 15:15:33 PDT, seller added the following information:I have had a couple more questions. Yes it has the factory roll bar and it is padded. The hitch is rated at 5000 GVW and 500 hitch weight It is an EAZ-LIFT V5
