You are bidding on a 1984 Rabbit Diesel 4-door automatic with 95,000 original miles with clean title. Black exterior repaint in November 2009 & looks excellent. Red cloth interior in excellent condition including rugs and heal pad. No rips, tears, or wear marks, new headliner installed February 2010. Original 13" steel wheels were sandblasted and refinished. Matching rubber in near new condition. This vehicle has never been molested. It is a nice original specimen which gets great fuel economy. This car gets approximately 50 mpg. The only thing this car needs to make it perfect is a front seal on the injection pump (which causes it to drop its fuel prime if it sits overnight). I installed two ball valvs on each side of the fuel line. When shut this will allow the pump to keep its prime (which I open before starting and running and close after shutting the car down & parking). Try and find a nicer specimen of this age.
