In 1975 Honda introduced the GL1000. It was the first touring motorcycle produced. At the time, the GL1000 was the biggest, heaviest and second quickest motorcycle on the market. I found this one in a storage unit and got it running again. The carbs have been rebuilt, fuel system cleaned, points replaced( some fine tuning may need to be done to get best performance for your climate and elevation), new fork seals and rear tire. Has white Corbin seat. For the year I would say it is in good shape. It does have a few dings, dents, scratches and some paint fade. The bike runs good and I would feel comfortable to ride this bike on any long distance trip. Deposit of US $500.00 within 48 hours of auction close. Full payment required within 7 days of auction close. This is being sold as is, no returns and no warranty implied. A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is required at auction end, with the balance do within 7 days in the form of a cashiers check or cash. Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up. Bike will be released to shipper once full payment has been made. After the bike is paid in full the title will be mailed. The Buyer is responsible for the pick-up or shipping of the motorcycle. On Jul-25-10 at 12:31:53 PDT, seller added the following information:Hello, The only paperwork that I have seen that stated the miles(38156) was the previous title that was issued in New Mexico in 2004. Every thing works....head light, tail, brake, blinkers, gauges, indicator lights(the neutral light acts alittle funny- comes on in other gears and when the clutch is pulled in. I do not have the original seat or the kick start lever. Also the front blinkers are missing. The brakes are working no sticking or dragging calipers. The clutch and trany are in good working order. The front tire does need to be balanced and has some wear and cracking. Thank you.
