Vehicle Detail

1972 Cadillac Superior Hearse This car was manufactured by Superior Coach Builders. We are including two magnetic FUNERAL Flags with the car and a Styrofoam skull in case you want to dress it up... Halloween is JUST around the corner! It is silver with blue vinyl interior. 1972 Cadillac Superior Hearse, Silver/Gray exterior with blue vinyl interior, 73,513 miles, good original condition, no AC, no radio; it does have power windows. The transmission was rebuilt in 2008 and a booster for the brakes was added later in 2008 by our local garage. This car is an un-restored, original antique. It came originally from a funeral home in Baltimore, MD but I bought it in PA. The back has the rollers and some interesting blue carpet. This car runs decently for being original. It take a couple of minutes to warm up, but always starts. I did replace the battery last year (one time it didn't start...). There are several small imperfections I want to note: there is a small bubble in the windshield, which has been there since I bought it, but it never changes and is not in the driver or passenger view - it doesn't distract. The front bumper, driver's side, is dimpled (lightly crunched from some earlier bump). There is some corrosion showing in the rear rocker panels, and your usual paint chips in the paint. (see photo's below) Also, the interior rear door handle is broken but still functions, still opens from the inside, just in case you find yourself inside the back... This car is imposing. It has a high windshield and even the tallest driver looks small sitting in the car. It has a neat look. (Not that it matters to a buyer, but I plan to use the money from the sale of this car to use to restore our 1961 Cadillac Superior hearse. We have too many hearses and have to focus on one now.) Regularly serviced, oil and fluids etc... This car has an antique PA license. There is no warranty or guarantee provided. Write or call with any questions. Thank you. photo below shows ding on front bumper photo below shows minor rust bubbling On Jul-26-10 at 10:17:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Here Are Some Additional Photos this photo shows the door handle: this shows the small tear we mentioned: and these show the minor windshield bubble: On Jul-26-10 at 12:06:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: Added a picture of a small tear in the upholstery of the rear section of the hearse; also added some more pictures, mainly of the rear interior area and also the windshield imperfection (bubble) mentioned in the ad. Thanks! On Jul-26-10 at 12:15:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional Note: I just saw a typo. I meant to type: It takes a couple of minutes to warm up, but always starts. Instead of: It take a couple of minutes to warm up, .... Thanks!
