General Vehicle Information Rare, rare rare color sprite !!!!! Mileage: 50.120 original Title: clear Ohio VIN: AN6L1020 Owners: 3 Location: Clinton N.Y. Condition: very very nice with perfect paint Vehicle Condition Disclosure I have a 1961 Austin Healey Sprite mark II with 50,000 original miles and the original 948 cc A series engine that produces 46 hp @ 5500 rpm and 53 lb-ft @3000 rpm. The VIN number is AN6L1020. This car was recently refinished in its original deep pink color and has also had a complete recent restoration including: New tune up, carbs cleaned, gas tank cleaned, radiator flushed, hoses, water pump, thermostat, front brake hoses, rebuilt wheel cylinders, new clutch master cylinder, rubber floor mats, shifter boot and the front bumper was stripped and replated. Has new black vinyl tonneau cover that fits onto the car using the original snaps. Car has just been fully serviced and detailed. Has only had one repaint in its entire life and the paint is incredible on this car. The Healey has the original side windows (in their original bags),spare tire and jack, and convertible top in the trunk, where most of the paint is original from the factory. The interior also retains its original speckled carpet, which is also very rare. The engine compartment has all of its factory paint and the yellow mark on the valve cover is from the factory! Also comes with a box of NOS and original parts including the front bumper guards and a reproduction front emblem. I've had many people email me from Deep Pink Sprite clubs across the world about this car. Apparently, the deep pink color was officially introduced in 1962 and a few of the last 1961 models were painted the deep pink color. The Sprite clubs estimated 50. From my recent research, this Sprite was produced in the first two months of production since the engine number was 467; the first number assigned to a Sprite was 101 and the ensuing numbers were divided between the Sprite and Midget so therefore, this is one of the first Sprite Mark II's ever built (around the 183rd by my calculation. It could also be the first deep pink sprite ever built. Needless to say, it's a pretty rare car. I have a full owner history on the car.
