This Solara has been owned by my wife since new. It has been her baby, with absolutely zero problems in all that time. She gives it regular oil changes and has replaced battery, tires and brakes as needed, beyond that, nothing has been necessary. It's a very clean car with no rust. It's always kept in the garage, not outside. This is the SLE version, fully loaded: power sunroof, steering, mirrors, locks, and windows, cruise, etc. Auto climate control Leather interior in excellent condition other than the outside bolster on the driver's side that was worn and poorly redyed, (see pic) No actual rips or tears Very good tires Full size spare AM/FM/CD/CASSETTE w/ premium sound system It has 225K kilometers, (137K miles), and burns no oil. Since we live in a small town, almost all of those miles are highway miles. Its V6 engine still runs perfectly and is extremely quiet at all speeds. At idle, it's difficult to tell it's running. Plenty of power on the highway. It's an excellent long distance touring car. Everything works perfectly, and judging by it's history, I'd say it has many, many more miles of trouble free driving.For those who might be concerned about the mileage on the car, this amounts to the average of about 20k km/year, quite appropriate for a 10 year old car. These cars are good for well over 300k trouble free km if cared for the way this one has been. My wife still gets comments from people who can't believe it's 10 years oldThen why sell? I have a Miata that we both love, but we need a vehicle to pull the trailer we're buying, and to haul larger items. After a lot of discussion we decided that the Solara would go to make room for a van. If it doesn't sell, we'll just keep it and use it as our winter car to save the sports car, so serious buyer only please. Will deliver to within 200mi of Detroit/Windsor for fuel cost.
