1969 Triumph TR6C motorcycle in beautiful condition. Bike looks and runs good. While there are a few chips on the paint on the frame, overall, the paint is beautiful. The chrome on rims and headlight is excellent. While the mufflers look fine for their age, they have acquired scrapes and scratches over the years. Tires are in excellent condition. I bought the bike about a year ago at a vintage motorcycle auction and know nothing of its history. I didn't really buy it to ride, but I wanted a bike in good condition. The clutch didn't operate very smoothly so I had new clutch plates and springs installed by Southeast British Steel in Dade City Florida. The clutch now operates great. The mileage stated in this ad is the mileage shown on the speedometer. However, I have no idea how accurate the number is or what the actual mileage may be since I have no knowledge of the bike's history. What I can tell you is that the engine sounds good, and the bike does not smoke at all from either pipe. The only thing that doesn't work is the trip meter. Everything else works perfectly: the high/low beam headlight switch, the tail light & brake light, the horn, and the brakes. The charging system has been upgraded, with the rectifier having been replaced by an electronic regulator. I have no key for the fork lock. The numbers on the title, the motor, and the frame all match. However, the title has a typographical error on it...the title states the bike is a 1967 model. The DC 17115 VIN number indicates an April, 1969 date of manufacture, so the bike is most certainly a 1969 model and not a 1967 model.
