Vehicle Detail

Up for your consideration is my Pontiac Fiero with the iron duke inline 4. I love this car and really hate to sell it but I have to let some of my toys go because I have a new baby. It is currently not insured so if you come and look we need to keep test drives on my road. I live right on the border of OH, WV,and KY in Huntington, WV right next to the interstate 64. I am extremely easy to find. There is even a nice big parking lot at the end of my road for a shipper to load this car up which I have done before for people. I am not a dealer, just an individual who likes his cars and sometimes has to let them go. My name is Brian and my number is 304-654-5117 if you have any questions. I have the right to end the auction at any time because the car is for sale locally too. If you want to come and make an offer, I plan to sell this thing at a very reasonable price. Here is the story. This car was in long term storage until about 2006 when it had about 40000 miles. At that time is was taken out of storage, tuned up, given some new brakes, and a clutch slave cylinder. It was purchased by a woman who I knew locally and she put about 12000 more miles until she was unable to drive it anymore because of poor health. I bought it in 2009 and loved it ever since. It drives and handles nice. It dresses the part of the mileage. It is nice and tight. I have driven it on long jaunts and performed like a champ. It runs cool and you can drive it home if you want. I have let it set for a month and it always starts like it was ran yesterday. The paint is probably a strong 7 to 8. I am 95% sure it is original. I did have to paint the metal covers at the rear because they were heavily deteriorated from the engine heat which I hear is a common issue. I took the luggage rack off because I always thought they were ugly. I no longer have it. I pretty much ruined it getting it off. The underneath is still nice and looks like the original exhausts. With a little TLC, this could be a museum piece. The interior is also a strong 8 out of 10. The headliner could use replacing. It has two very small blemishes on the driver seat where you rub getting in and out. Real nice dash, carpet, door panels. There are a few issues that need addressed. The passenger side headlight needs attention. Once is goes down, the motor won't stop turning so I have a switch to turn it off. The air conditioning needs charged or possibly a compressor. I don't know and don't care. I like the sunroof that comes out and can be stored in the front compartment. The horn sometimes wont honk but everything else works fine. The factory radio is nice and the speakers in the headrest are neat and crisp sounding. If you are looking for a car that is getting harder to find in nice condition and low miles, this is it. Clear title in hand. I really would like you to have insurance when you come to get it. It qualifies for antique tags. Thanks, Brian
