1996 Saab 900 convertible, 5 speed with only 104,000 miles (average 6900/year). Very low mileage for a SAAB which are well known for going 300,000 miles typically. Kelleys Blue Book lists the car at $5885 for Retail and $4485 for Private Party. Well maintained by Automotive Department at my State Technical School where I teach. Instructor is a certified Porsche, BMW, and Audi mechanic who is very knowlegable. Comes with a Clean CarFax with no issues. Fairly new tires with alignment. (only few thousand miles on them). New brakes, and rotors. New clutch cable was installed. Motor runs excellent with no leaks or noises. Driving is just as tight as new. Suspension is exceellent, shifts very smooth. Convertible Top works fine and is in excellent condition. The only issue is the front Leather seats are starting to crack. They are just OK. They can be easily replaced by finding used ones on ebay or a local salvage yard, if so desired. Car is being offered locally using several different sources., so the right to end the auction early is a possibility. This is a great car whether for summer or winter if need be. The AutoCheck now shows that it was in one accident, much to my surprise. It says that damage was done to the right door. With that said, their is no indication of any damage to this area at all. It must have been only minor damage and/or the door was replaced. Regardless this was a surprise to me and there is absolutely no sign of damage at all.On Jul-30-10 at 18:52:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I also just put on a new muffler system recently and have the paperwork which shows the cost to be $750.00 (not to mention you can clearly see in person that it is a whole new system.) I usually have these things done at the Technical School in which I work, but being summer vacation, I was unable to get the work done there, so I went to Meineke Muffler.
