1982 Suzuki GS

This auction is for a very well-maintained 1982 Suzuki GS650L motorcycle. It is virtually new, with only 6677 ORIGINAL miles. In a nutshell, this bike was purchased in 1982 and garaged until 2006, when it was purchased by a family member, with about 4000 miles on it. When she decided that she didn't want to learn to ride on her own, she sold it to me in 2008, and the remaining miles have been put on it in the past 2 riding seasons. In that time, it has been a reliable and solid ride, and an exceptional first bike. It has never been dropped, and it was just inspected a few months ago. In the past few years, the following parts have been replaced: carbs, carb gaskets, clutch cable, alternator, battery, shaft seal, and most recently, all motor gaskets have been replaced. The ONLY reason that I am selling it is because I just got the offer of a lifetime on a Harley. This bike is available for inspection at my home, in the Hudson Valley of New York.
