1979 DODGE ASPEN WAGON FARM FRESH Up for sale is a 79 dodge aspen 4 door station wagon. This car has 81,xxx original miles on it . It was bought by a friend of mine at an estate auction , it was parked in the barn under a tarp. The car is a great project vehicle , tires are in excellent shape , he drove the car home from the auction. The gas tank does have a small leak , it does not smoke at all when you race it or when idling. There are some small dings and very light rust ( repairable ) .The main place of rust is on the drivers door down low . Runs and drives great , transmission shifts smooth and does have power steering . The title appears to be a 2 owner ( 2nd owner looks to took possesion in 1988) . The title is a clean Arkansas title . We tried to take the best pictures of the car to show the worst points . All around for a 79 model it is in good shape with an excellent drive tran. The interior is in pretty good shape , with some fading in carpet , the drivers seat has some holes in the vinyl and the dash pad has some cracks . The engine is a slant 6 cly. gas engine . On Jul-21-10 at 10:16:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Hey just found out a little bit more on this car , the title does state it is a 1979 model , but the car was made 6th month of 1977 and the owners manuel says 1978 , so I beleive it is a 1978 . It has also been in the same family since it was new or possibly a one owner it was retitled in 1988 in Arkansas and bought new in 1978 in Louisana to a man by the last name of Cater . That is also who it is still titled to now ( but is singed off as seller ) . Also Im going to add several more pictures . This car does have air , drove it over to my mechanic this morning and he charged it with freon and it is cold right now (real cold ) .
