This is a heavy Ford flatbed work truck. I had plans to put a recessed goose neck hitch in the bed but never did. Also planned to make it a dump, but never did. I have too many projects. The truck runs and drives fine but it has some issues. Here's the bad news first: It is getting difficult to start. I think it could be losing it's prime. Sometimes it clicks, but with a few bumps of the key it always goes. The clutch works good if you push the pedal all the way to the floor. The master cylinder for the hydraulic clutch never worked well in these and this one is no different. The air conditioner is not blowing cold. I don't know anything other than that. The doors are really the only rusty parts. I have other doors I might consider sending with the truck at additional cost. The seat is torn. The boards in the bed are worn but okay. 43428 miles showing but who really knows. Better news: Tires all hold air and are around 40-50%. Engine purrs, even though it has a slight manifold leak that you can hear. This is the old Navistar 7.3L V-8 Diesel that is mechanical not electronic. I replaced the windshield and glow plugs last spring. Radio works. The interior is actually pretty fair for the age of the truck. It does have a large GVW, at 14,500 lbs. That technically makes this an F-450. Would be a great farm truck, jobsite truck or local hauler. With some work it could be roadworthy for longer trips. The bed measures 8 feet wide by 12 long and has the recessed chain tie-down things in it too. I know I forgot some stuff so call if you have questions. 765-395-7386 or cell 765-437-3958.
