It has the following features: * ORIGINAL 289 motor with forged pistons * a 4 core aluminum griffin radiator motor * a 9 inch positive traction rear end with 411 gears and traction bars. * Straight Body with some minor imperfections * Some rust around the windows nothing to the back that is not fixable. * ALL ORIGINAL moldings This vehicale starts but the carburator needs rebuilt. It is no doubt a project car but ABSOLUTELY worth every investment. With a vehicle as rare as this, every penny you put into will easily triple your investment. You do not see 1966 Ford Fairlanes driving around town. This is a unique, rare, antique! Just needs a little TLC.On Jul-19-10 at 19:41:34 PDT, seller added the following information: There is no way to accurately account for the current mileage. We are sure the odometer has turned several times over. On Jul-20-10 at 20:37:58 PDT, seller added the following information: I've gotten a couple emails regarding whether or not this car could be driven home. In an effort to have full disclosure here we want to reiterate that this antique is a project car. The vehicle has been parked and needs some TLC. The body is in good shape (straight with some rust but nothing that isn't fixable). Supposedly this car in its day was running 11 second 1/4 miles. This vehicle has been parked for 5 or 6 years. The extent of work is really unknown but at first glance as you can tell from the pictures it looks decent.
