It is a 1940 International D-30 with a PTO dump bed made by HEIL in 1935 and installed by BEALL (of Portland) when new. D-30s came as a cab-chassis from the factory and various beds were added. Runs strong with 45,000 original miles on the original motor. Starts, Runs, Shifts, Stops good. I just drove it 75 miles one way to a truck show with no problems at all. Steering is tight No rust in cab or frame. I have not seen another truck unrestored in this condition. Cab corners, sills, floor, doors are all rust free!!! some small pinholes in the front corner of the dumpbed, but it is still sound-- see the picture. It has an alternator but I have not hooked the gauge cluster up. Crank-out windshield works great and is very neat!Really cool cowl vent scoops air into the cab.Heater works but needs a door.
