Vehicle Detail
1977 Plymouth Trailduster started life as a Black 360 small block, 727 auto, NP 203, that had red interior. The truck still has the factory roll bar, the dash is a factory delete radio, but there is a CD player/radio in the glove box. Truck has an original Best Top Softtop that has been out of production since around 1992 and is in very good shape. I do have the original hard top that has some rust in the drip rail. The drive train is now a 440 30 over with a Mopar RV cam. Transmission is still a 727 rebuilt, the transfer case is a NP 203 with a mile marker part-time kit. The rear axle is a 9 1/4 with 390 gears and the front is a Dana 44 that has had a knuckle out swap done and has mile marker locking hubs, the front axle has a 354 ring--n-pinion (I have not had time to swap it out yet). But the truck still runs up and down the road because it has the capability of 2 wheel drive. The truck has a 5 1/2 inch super lift and is sitting on Maxxis Big Horn 35's. The motor and running gear has about 50 miles on them. The truck could use a new set of headers, one of the tubes on the drivers side has a small hole in it because when they were sandblasted & coated and there was a weak spot in the tube. All body work and paint was done at my house, there was a small amount of rust in the driver & passanger floor board. Both had new panels put in. There rust through in the right side in front of the rear wheel. Truck is VERY solid, rockers are great and if you know these trucks that was a known problem with them! The rear portion of the inside of the truck was coated with Heurculiner Bedliner. The interior is now black, but I have the original red seats that came with the truck. The reason for selling the truck is I want to get my hands back into a muscle car "Mopar"! Would consider trades for only Mopars (63-64 Fury, 68-69 Roadrunner / Satelite, 67-68 Baricuda, 67-69 Darts, 66-68 Charger, or A-100 Truck). If you have any questions, my email is mygunner@bellsouth.net. The truck is located in Loganville, GA - which is east of Atlanta, GA. Asking $.6800.00 for the truck.
