Hi, I've got a 1983 B250 Dodge Shorty Van for sale. This van only has a 109.6 inch wheel base, that's why it's called a shorty. It's a good fixer upper or work van. It has a 318 V8 with and auto trans. It shows about 13500 miles on the odometer, but there's no hundred thousands digit. So it could be 100,000 miles or 200,000.The motor smokes pretty good when you first start it and then clears up when it's warmed up. I'd say it needs new valve seal in it. It has a CD player in it, but it's just sitting in the dash, because some cut the opening for the radio to big. The A/C doesn't work, but I have a brand new A/C compressor for it, but haven't ever had time to install it. The blower motor switch needs replacing to. The interior lights don't come on because the light switch messed up, but I have a new one I just never installed it. The steering has alot slack in it because it needs a new steering shaft bushing. The previous owner replaced the ball joints and some other parts steering parts. It does run straight down the road and doesn't pull to the left or right. This ol van has two captains chairs in the front, one in the middle and a bench seat in the back that lays down into a bed. The bench seat is just sitting in there and still needs to be bolted down. I've replaced the front two door seals and front door window channel felts. The side doors and the rear doors need new seal for them. Also it needs a new windshield gasket because the previous owner tried to seal it with silicone, but it still leaks when it rains. Its got a few dents and dings here and there, but noting to major. I haven't found any rust on her, even under the van. It has 235/75-15 tires on it that are in decent shape. It also has a recieved hitch on it. I just don't have time to put into this van that I'd like to and it's just sitting here and I'd rather see somebody use it or fix it up. The Texas tags and inspection are good until 2/2011 and I have a clear texas Title in hand. These shorties are one of the harder one's to find. I do have it for sale locally and if I sale it before I get a bid I will end the auction early. If I recieve a bid I will consider it sold and will not sell it outside of the auction and will not end the auction early. It's located at 1238 C.R. 754 Mc Caulley, Texas 79534 on HWY 57.
