Here is an exceptionally sharp 1966 Mustang Convertible that was built in Dearborn, Michigan, sold new in District 22 which was Charlotte, North Carolina area and has spent its' entire life in the southern states and later, sunny and dry Arizona and it shows! The body is virtually rust free and it has been in the hands of possibly only 3 owners its' entire life and it hasn't been abused or molested in any way! Other than a small fender bender repair on the lower right quarter, there are no other repairs or patches of any kind and no attempts to hide or cover anything up. The floor pans are original and rock solid as are the torque boxes and the underside is untouched original, so what you see is what you've got! All the other sheet metal appears to be original to this car with no rust issues and there is no evidence of any other accident history. Otherwise, the body is super straight and all the gaps are even and factory original and it really is a sharp, southern body! The paint job is an older but respectable, driver quality paint job that looks great cruising down the street and the car would eventually benefit from a gorgeous new paint finish.! It still has it's original and unique color combination of Silver Blue Metallic with Parchment and Blue interior complimented by a Blue convertible top and it looks great as my photos show! This is definitely a classic Mustang that can be driven and enjoyed just as it is! The chrome is, for the most part, either new or very decent, original. The windshield and side glass is all in good condition and the Blue convertible top looks great! The Parchment top boot is useable but ready for replacement. The interior, as a whole, is very presentable and very useable as a driver and as my photos show, it still looks great! It was done in it's original Parchment color with Blue dash pad. The door panels and armrests are nice and other than a little wear on the driver's seat back, the seats are still in great shape. The carpeting has a few splits but is still useable. The dash pad is nice and the gauges are clean and bright. All the gauges appear to work as they should as well as the tachometer, wipers and horn. The clock and heater fan do not work. All the running lights are in good working order. This is an exceptionally sharp, driver quality interior! Mechanically, this little Mustang appears to be in very good condition. I don't know much about the mechanical history but it does run strong and smooth. The transmission shifts as it should and the front suspension is new. The tires are like new and the brakes stop as they should. The dual exhaust system is partially new and quiet. It is in good general condition and is a nice running and driving Mustang. The engine compartment is clean and very respectable and has a chrome engine dress up kit. Mustangs are some of the fastest appreciating and most desirable and sought after collector cars in the market today and now you can own a nice example that is ready for cruising or show! Its' a very solid, southern car! It's a desirable and unique color combination! It has been maintained and babied by just a few owners and it is loaded with options that you don't generally see on a Mustang!
