Classic Italian Sports Car From California (never exposed to road salt, etc.). ** All maintenance records from when the vehicle was first purchased brand new are avalable and are supplied with the vehicle. ** Pinnafarina Spider Convertible ( Pinnafarina is the same design outfit utilized by Ferrari) Purchased the vehicle in California (San Francisco) and had it transported by Truck Car Carrier to South Carolina. Original color was "Frost Green" but 'she who must be obeyed' insisted that she really wanted a black sports car. Thus, we had the vehicle stripped to bare metal, and refinished in black. *** There was NO body damage of any kind and really no need to paint other than to alter the color scheme -- just a very expensive paint job (but definitely done right !) *** Also, installed a CD Player / Stereo. Interior is Tan / Beige Leather. Standard transmission, and a blast to drive (especially on the curves). We purchased the vehicle in 2002, drove it mostly for fun (not day to day), on weekends, and one trip to coast. After the vehicle was refinished, it was mostly kept indoors in a garage and with a car cover as well. Brakes were replaced, tires are like new (IE. On the car since we received it, but tread is more or less the same as when the tires were first installed.) This vehicle is offered 'As Is'. Issues that we are aware of are described as follows : 1. Rag Top: Rear Window (Clear plastic) is out. Either the window can be replaced or the convertible top overall. If I / we were to keep this vehicle I would likely go ahead and replace the whole convertible top. As a point of reference the cost range for an entire replacement is between $250 and $550 depending on where it is purchased, what material is selected, and the specific color that is selected. 2. When we were utilizing the vehicle and driving it around on weekends, etc. we had no mechanical problems, issues whatsoever. While kept indoors we turned thse engine periodically to ensure lubrication / oil etc. was flowing around parts as it should have been. Recently, when we started the engine, one of the cooling system hoses either developed a crack or hole, or a clamp may have loosened. The issue seems to be located in the vicinity of the dash board and is likely associated with defroster and / or heat exchange related associated with heating the cabin. Leather bucket seats (mostly the driver side) exhibit 'normal' wear and tear and mostly in the form of seam seperation.
