Very clean one-owner 5-series with 4.4-L V8 engine and full sport package. Window sticker from new sale is included in car photos showing nearly every option - lacking only adaptive cruise control, head-up display and rear seat heat. (If you live in northern Manitoba this may not be the car for you.) Second set of wheels will be provided with Bridgestone Blizzaks mounted (wheels and tires are narrower than the summer set for improved winter traction - this is a superb snow car with the Blizzaks). FACTORY WARRANTY extended to 100,000 miles; FULL PAID BMW MAINTENANCE also to 100k. Car is wicked fast when it needs to be, yet gets very good fuel mileage for a large sedan - I routinely reach the EPA estimates of 18 city and 26 highway. Upholstery is in excellent condition; rear seat used perhaps five times and passenger seat only rarely. Primary use was highway - business trips and interstate commute. Comfort seats (a BMW exclusive) make long trips a breeze. Owned by a non-smoker, and no smokes have ever been ignited or used in this machine. Car was sideswiped on the interstate one winter - their fault - with deployment of (side) airbags; this required new right side doors, which shows up on CarFax. This incident occurred early in my ownership and has never affected driveability, handling or other aspects of ownership. (The fact I was able to control the vehicle at 70 mph so that I hit nobody else, and nobody else hit me, is evidence of the outstanding control a BMW owner has over his environment.) BMW provides full maintenance and service to 50,000 miles - including regular oil changes with full synthetic oil, a must for this machine - and it has been maintained by the book. I've paid to extend the full maintenance to 100,000 miles, which will be transferred to the buyer along with the extended warranty. This is a fast, extremely quiet sedan that handles like a sports car but rides like the luxury machine it is. It's great for the businessman who must spend lots of time away from home, since the Bluetooth system allows you to place and accept calls from your paired phone with ease. The right phone (BlackBerries work great) will have the phone book appear like magic in the screen that is also the navigation system display. Some people don't like the iDrive control system which allows all vehicle settings to be viewed and adjusted from the nav screen. I happen to love the system, but if you don't, you can use the intuitive voice command system to "tell" the car exactly what you want it to do. Other cars are only now catching up to BMW in the technology department, in my opinion. Buyer to take title to vehicle in Columbus, Ohio - transport to your garage is your responsibility. Transport to your garage will also be a stone blast, especially if you take the winding road rather than the straight one. Unfortunately I have no means to finance this for the buyer - I'm taking a bath financially as it is. One final note: I've never bought or sold anything on eBay (be gentle with me!), so I have no reputation here. So long as you don't look too hard at my photos in the post office, you should feel comfortable dealing with me, though. I'm a professional engineer who has been married to the same lovely wife for 31 years.
