Hi, up for your consideration is a 1986 Toyota truck. I purchased this truck from my neighbor just to use for firewood and junk-trash trips to town. The truck has a rusty cab and bed. There are holes on the driver side floor and I can see where there is bondo in the bed. Suprisingly the frame is in really good shape. I saw no rusted through spots where they like to go bad ( inside of the rear frame rails ). You also have to pump the gas a bunch of times before it will start as it is not fuel injected. It does run good once it starts though with no smoking and the 4 speed trans shifts excellant with a good clutch. My neighbor had bought the truck and had a local mechanic install a lower mileage engine in it ( there is about 198000 showing on the truck itself ). It leaks oil and enough it ruined a spot on my asphalt driveway so I park it in the grass. He told me he ended up putting $1200 into it plus whatever he paid for the truck. He also put new taillights on it and I think all lights are working properly. Basically it is a good little work truck or junk hauler that runs decent, brakes work well and drives better than it looks. I have a reserve that is low enough for anyone to drive this home.
