2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Kentucky Salvage Title This truck has a salvage title. The buyer will need to take the truck and the title to their local DMV and go through the process to get the title converted to a rebuilt salvage title. I can do that process for you but I will charge an additional $400 above the final auction price if you want me to do it for you. It only costs about $50 to do it yourself so you can save money by dealing with it yourself. But if you don't know how to do it or just don't want to deal with it I can do it before you come pick the car up. It will delay delivery by about 3 weeks. If you choose to do the paperwork I will provide you a copy of all the receipts I have for parts purchased. I know a lot about cars/trucks and have been working on them for over 20 years. I purchased this truck out of Miami Florida so that is why it was ordered as a 2 wheel drive. It has been repainted and quite frankly it is not a good paint job. It would be a great work truck but if you want this to be your show off truck you will want/need to repaint the entire vehicle. The front bumper has been replaced and their is some body filler in the drivers door. The front left fender is original and doesn't have any body filler in it so the accident appears to have just gotten those two areas. Truck runs GREAT and has ice cold Air!!! Everything works and looks good on the truck except: Right rear wheel is missing the center cap. On eBay for $10 to $15 Radio is missing the volume knob. Dealer will only sell the entire radio. Their is a seller on eBay with replacement knobs for $15 with free shipping.Rear bumper has a dent on the passengers side plus several around the license plate step. From Auto Body Panels or Keystone you can get (aftermarket) for $200Ram 1500 emblem on drivers door is missing the letter "1". You have to buy the entire badge from Dodge, cost is $43.20Passengers mirror glass is a stick on mirror over the old mechanism. If you want a factory glass you have to purchase from Dodge, retail cost is $52.00 The front grill has a dent in the lower right corner. I can get a used one for $100 locally. (Van De Mark Auto Parts) Dome light in the interior roof works but the trim around it is cracked causing the light to want to drop out. Dodge part costs $37.60Small tear in the back of the drivers seat (see pic). About 1/2 an inch long. I have a local upholstery shop that will do a vinyl repair for $50The cover over the bolt that secures the drivers seat belt to the seat is missing. Dodge dealer $4.80I got an estimate from Maaco to repaint the entire truck. This estimate includes fixing the dents in the hood and on the back edge of the cab roof next to the third brake light. $1,100 Total Parts $ 517.60 Total Repairs $1,100.00 Paint If you purchase/win the auction and you want me to order the parts and do all the repairs I will do it all for $850.00. I will do items #1 through #9 listed above for $850.00 If you purchase/win the auction and you want me to do the paperwork to convert the car from a salvage title to a Rebuilt salvage title I will do that for $400 Other Issues The button on the end of the gear shifter that you push to keep the truck from shifting into 4th gear doesn't work. The truck still goes into all four gears and the tranny works and shifts great. It appears that someone spilled some soda pop on it because the button is sticky and stuck in the down position. I personally wouldn't deal with it but if you win the auction and want me to take it apart and see if I can unstick it I will do so for $25 and hour. If I have to replace the shift lever I would give you a price and get it authorized before doing so. The odometer on the truck reads 31,096 miles however the car fax report shows that it was reported at the auction as having 50/60K miles on it about 3 months ago. The truck will be left as it is however please know that the truck probably actually has about 20K miles more on it than what the odometer reads. This is how it arrived from Miami so I am going to leave it as is but please be aware that their is a discrepancy. Features I invite all inspections or test drives. The truck runs and drives very nicely. The truck has tinted windows on all four doors and the rear glass. It has an CD player with and Aux input jack for your I-pod or other MP3 Player. The front seat is two buckets with a center bench section the folds down for an wide area arm rest. the rear seat folds up to expose a storage area for tools or other items you would put in your trunk. The truck bed has a cargo light with a dash mounted control switch. The truck bed also has a heavy duty tie down in all four corners as well as a Dodge bed liner. Steering wheel has cruise control buttons mounted on it. The truck does not have any leaks. The engine and entire bottom of the truck are very clean. No spare tire. Engine is the 4.7 Liter V8, has plenty of power yet good fuel economy! If you have any questions about any of this please give me a call. I will be glad to explain anything.
