Vehicle Detail

With the miles, third row seat, premium bose stero, etc, the retail value is 11,500.00$. It's in perfect condition, just serviced by Audi in New Mexico (may 2010, for a cost of 2000$ and I keep all receipts in the glove box). Three of four cup holders are not working. A front cup holder I bought the whole middle console to replace it. The rear two, one is snapped off by my dog, the other is jammed. I almost had it out, but I didn't want to break it. I'd like to find a replacement for that before it sells. I also have a new oil pan. The old one is fine, but it was patched up by a local small town auto shop, and they didn't put the sensor on right or something. I took it to Audi, and they wanted 500$ for the oil pan, but I knew I could get it cheaper. I asked them if the repair job was no good, and they said someone did a good job on it and it didn't need to be fixed as long as I didnt mind the check engine light on and the sensor going off sometimes. I have traveled across the nation with the old one on (I only bought new oil pan two months or three months ago). I intended to get it put on by audi so it could be done by the book when I got back to NM. That is all the bad right there. And really, that is not bad. Timing and Air suspension: I cannot say 100% what was done or not. My wife swears the guy told her the timing belt was done. But I don't know. The air ride is great, cycles on and then off, lowers the car when you open door, raises it when you shut it. Kinda neat. The price is not firm, that is retail, I believe that if I knew the timing was done, I would set the price to 9000$ and be fairly firm about that. But I will not go under my local offer of 7500$. I feel 7500$ is a good price point as it leaves the buyer with 4000$ saved, and that alone should ease their mind about future work that needs to be done. I researched both known issues with audi allroads. Timing belt Audi recomends you do at 60k miles. According to a forum the lowest people have paid is 750$ for the job, including water pump and other things. Audi will charge you 1500$. However in NM audi is far less expensive for labour per hour than what was quoted in the forum (by 50$). So I image that price varies depending on the going rate for the shop you are at. The air suspension, there is an after market that is 1200$ (complete package with a lifetime guarantee) and do it yourself. That should mean if you don't want to do it yourself, someone should be able to do it for you pretty cheaply. On the forums people raved about this after market and complained about the Audi original equipment. Now with this being said, before I bought the Audi TT, I intended on driving my audi Allroads home from my house in NY to my house in NM after the summer, so I anticipate no issues for the future owners. I had to put this info in my listing because most inquiries wanted to know about issues. THERE ARE NONE. NO ISSUES. Nothing is broke! Now, lets say both timing and air ride broke, at worse, according to the forum, you will have spent 2700$. As one Audi tech put it on one forum, "this is a supercharged bi-turbo sports wagon with sophisticated technology, if you want something cheap, buy a Honda." By the way, this last winter I drove through many bad blizzards, one on a moutain pass. NOTHING passed me, except for an older Subaru wagon. But I only have all seasons on my car (they have about 20k or less miles on them), with snow tires, I might have never been passed. But everyone with mean looking 4x4s and cross overs, I just blew passed them. The power of the audi engine and the performance of this car has made me buy another audi, and I will continue to buy audi. If I have to replace timing or whatever, well, the car maker is making the best vehicles on the road today. Had I test driven an Audi TT before I bought my BMW Z4, I would have bought the audi. And my Z4 is a bigger 6 cylinder, my new TT is a 4 cylinder. My Allroad is a 6, but 2.7 and the BMW is 3.01 and the audi is like a rocket ship, the z4, a friggin rocking chair. I used to love BMW (I still collect their motorcycles), but its audi all the way for me. Take care and thanks for looking!!!
