1970 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible. Matching numbers 351 Cleveand Engine ,4 barrel carb with factory aluminum valve covers and air conditioning. Car is solid with no rust through on the body. solid trunk . The person that had it before us started taking the car apart to restore and paint it. Car needs seats covered , carpet, and paint. Instrument cluster is incomplete. Tilt sreering, power steering, power brakes air conditioning. Car came out factory with leather bucket seats. Car runs but is not driveable due to needing small things put back together such as door latches and other small parts. Car needs to be restored by a Cougar lover. Rare hard to find car. C6 trans that was rebuilt by the former owner. We bought the car a year ago and do not have the time or money to restore it. Hopefully someone out there is looking for this car. Everything seems to be here to put it back together except for replaceable parts like the door rubbers and such. It is missing a few of the instrument gauges. They were gone when we got it.
