1975 Honda CB

Up for auction is a classic 1975 Honda CB550-4. This little fun-loving 4-cylinder bike has all the pep you would want around town and then some. You can really feel the torque kick in around 6000 rpm. I enjoy riding this little smooth running 4-cylinder bike. It is light weight and nimble. Original miles are approximately 24,500. Speedometer and Tachometer have been replaced because original odometer reset knob was broken. Speedometer needle has slight wiggle of about 3 mph. You may have original speedometer and tachometer if you want. Bike has been serviced and rebuilt to perform well. Top end of engine was rebuilt to replace head and cam. Forks were rebuilt including new seals. Tires are good, rear almost new. Good chain and sprockets. New oil and air filters. Everything works including turn-signal beeper. Tank and side covers repainted. Chrome finders are in reasonable shape. Right top muffler has been repaired with a patch (original metal is thin to reduce weight) - see photos. Spokes have some surface rust - see photos. Rims have a little surface rust. Saddle is in reasonable shape, however has approx 3 inch cut on left side and small tear in rear - see photos. Clutch as slight tendency to grab at final engagement when engine is hot. Bike may be seen and ridden West Los Angeles area. Send eMail via "Ask Question" for exact location.
